2. Knitwear, over a collar.
A crewneck knit worn over a collared shirt is the single most flattering thing most men can put on, and it takes ninety seconds to assemble. It reads as considered without reading as dressed up, which is the exact register she wants for dinner.

5. Sunglasses, because they change his face.
