Hard Shell Rooftop Tent
Sixty seconds from parked to in bed. Turns his truck into a basecamp.
Hard shell means it pops up in under a minute and packs down without wrestling a cover in the rain, which is the entire difference between a rooftop tent that gets used and one that lives in the garage. Check his roof rack's dynamic weight rating first.
Our rating
4.3 out of 5
Sixty seconds from parked to in bed, which is the entire argument for a rooftop tent over a ground one. Turns his truck into a basecamp. It lives on the roof year-round hurting fuel economy, unless he wants to remove it each time.
