Elgato Stream Deck MK.2, 15 Macro Keys

Sold as a streaming tool and bought increasingly by people who have never streamed, because what it really is is fifteen programmable buttons with icons: mute the call, switch the scene, run the script, start the timer, play the sound. At 4.8 across ten thousand ratings it is the best-rated item in this collection. The software is the good part, and it hooks into far more than OBS. The honest caveat is that it does nothing he cannot already do with a keyboard shortcut — it just means he will actually do it. The key caps attract fingerprints.
